2024 KTM 350 XW-F Dyno Test

This was my first street legal motorcycle. It was great fun on the trails as you could ring its neck without ever having to worry about it going too fast. On the street I'd ride with a mate who had a ZZR250. He got so many laughs out of how slow the KLX was. We'd be in the overtaking lane passing a truck up hill and he'd fly by while I'd be lying on the tank of my KLX to squeeze hoping a headwind wouldn't arrive. Sometimes I'd have to bail out of an overtake when that happened.

The RM 250 2 Stroke has more power Suzuki they would sell more bikes if they focused on bikes for UPcoming kids into the sport 65 - 85 cc - 125 2 strokes, the 450 needs to be redesigned new engine with a extra 19 HP & the 250 needs the 450 power minimum 57 HP redesign the frame starter motor

What I learned watching this video: I'd much rather pay to watch someone else do the cursing, rather than doing it myself... I imagine changing tires is what they do in hell for punishment... Ffffffffff that....

I've had mine 18 months here in Verdi,Nevada and with the low seat and easy sharp turning in the woods make it great for fishing and exploring.Great cold starting,quiet,good torque,highway legal,bright headlight,great mpg,seat too hard had to be replaced.Crappy tires,mushy forks,good brakes.Keep my cr250r to rip with friends.these bikes are for slower,easier cruising,it gets the job done there nicely,get out there!!!!😊😊😊

I agree 100% on the 250F vs 450 topic. The 250F {also 350} are the best bikes on the track for 90% of us.

I know that this bike is down about a pony or two to most the other 250F's, but the tester is a fast guy and if you listen to the video part, he is only at full power for a small amount of the lap. I really doubt that this slight power deficit makes really any difference for track days and enjoying yourself on the track. I had a 270cc 2017 TMZ and it was really nice, aside from the crappy airforks.

I realize this is old, but do you still do reviews? I just like how you explain exactly what the bike is doing, and why, vs afterthoughts comparing it to an Apples to oranges bike. Anyway, still waiting for my 2024 KLX 230 dual sport to come in that I ordered 2 months ago, so I watched your video to see what you thought of the motor, and which, all things considered, seems pretty promising to me.

I got a stock one in 2018, leftover form 2017. GOT IT ON SALE! Cheaper than MSRP, with electric start kit installed. It is my first motorcycle. As a new rider, WTF??? Mile wide smiles! Ride Red!

One thing for sure, truck should always be going uphill, not down hill. Pointed downhill only means it can't roll out when bike lands in bed. But, that is why you use brakes, if it seems like it wants to roll out. Pointed uphill means it takes way less effort to get it in the bed.
